The family is requesting that charitable donations in the name of Gary Kurfirst be made to one of the following organizations:

Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy, a music therapy program for children and adults with Autism and other emotional and medical disabilities

VH1 Save the Music Foundation, an organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in American public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education.
